JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Banquet Server, you will assist with setting-up, serving guests and clean-up of our banquet events such as weddings, meetings, and luncheons. This is a fast paced position that will involve constant guest interaction.
What you can help us do: Exceed our guests’ expectations by providing exceptional service throughout their event.

Your every day:
  • Knowledgeable of event menu items and their contents, appropriate table settings and service ware, and the correct preparation and garnishing methods.
  • Assist with food and table prep before the event begins.
  • Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance.
  • Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages and other needs.
  • Responds quickly to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Carves meats, bones fish and fowl, and prepares flaming dishes and desserts.
  • Ladles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and tea.
  • Clean up after event ends and assist with inventory, food storage and other closeout tasks.
What you need to perform this job successfully:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform well in a high-pressured work environment.
  • Adequate mathematical skills.
  • Required to walk and stand throughout the majority of each shift.
  • Required to regularly lift 20-40 pounds.
