JOB DESCRIPTION

Providing extraordinary customer service to all guests. The Barista’s job is to create a memorable experience for our guests by providing each customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, while maintaining a clean and comfortable environment with a positive attitude.

• Welcomes and connects with every customer.

• Anticipate customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.

• Offers customer demonstrations and samples using brewing equipment.

• Creates opportunities for customer to interact with the product.

• Responds to customer needs and says thank you to every customer.

• Provides quality beverages consistently for all customers

• Prepares beverages to standards.

• Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

• Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing products.

• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning standards.

• Follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies.

• Follows inventory stocking and recording guidelines.

• Contributes to outlet goals for increasing sales and improving profits.

• Takes responsibility to learn all aspects of the barista position

What you need to perform this job successfully: list qualifications (ie. College degree, experience, etc.)

• Basic knowledge of beverage preparation preferred.

• Ability to operate beverage equipment.

• Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check.

• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.

• Work well under pressure.
