JOB DESCRIPTION
As our Bartender, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining/drinking experience by providing quality customer service. You will work in the front of the house taking orders and serving food and drinks in a timely manner.
What you can help us do: Prepare, mix and serve drinks and beverages correctly to either customers directly or through serving staff.

What you can help us do: This position is responsible for provide timely, friendly and courteous to our guests by being knowledgeable in our products and service standards.

Your every day:
  • Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverages to bar patrons.
  • Take orders and enter them into the Micros system correctly.
  • Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  • Serve wine or draught or bottled beer.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests and ensures accuracy and quality.
  • Observe bar diners to respond to any additional needs or requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
  • Arrange bottles, glasses, stools, tables, etc. to maintain a neat and orderly bar area.
  • Slice fruit and prepare other garnishes for drinks.
  • Restock bar at the end of each shift with necessary supplies, beer, liquor, wine, etc.
  • Complies with all state and federal laws for service of alcohol and proper food handling.
What you need to perform this job successfully:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum age of 21 years is required.
  • Working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer and standard drink recipes.
  • Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments.
  • Ability to perform well in a high-pressured work environment.
  • Must possess multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Required to walk and stand throughout the majority of each shift.
  • Required to regularly lift 20-40 pounds.
