JOB DESCRIPTION
As our Bell Attendant, you will be responsible for transferring and storing guest luggage and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What you can help us do: The position is responsible for providing assistance to guests ensuring their comfort and facilitate hotel operations.

Your every day:

• Greet all guests in the lobby in a warm and professional manner, make them feel welcome and anticipate their needs before they arise
• Escort all guests checking in to their accommodations, assist with hand luggage, and inform them about all hotel and guest room features, hotel facilities, and emergency procedures, points of interest and entertainment attractions.
• Inspect guests’ room to ensure furnishings are in order and supplies are adequate.
• Make deliveries to guest rooms as instructed and set up sample rooms.
• Pick up articles for laundry and valet service.
• Call taxi for guests.
• Keep record of calls for service.
• Assist in the maintenance, appearance and functionality of hotel lobby.

What you need to perform this job successfully:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Positive attitude and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on own and as part of a team
• Commitment to respond to Guest requests and deliver high levels of service
• Excellent grooming standards
• Ability to perform repetitive physical activity including kneeling, crouching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, walking, reaching, stretching and grasping.
• Required to walk and stand throughout the entirety of each shift.
• Required to regularly lift 20-30 pounds.
