Laundry Attendant/Expeditor-Full time
The Lakefront, Anchorage hotel (formerly the Millennium Hotel) is recruiting for part time, Laundry Attendant/Expeditor to join our team. At the Lakefront Anchorage Hotel, we strive to deliver a memorable experience for our guests. The role of the Laundry Attendant/Expeditor is responsible for maintaining, organizing and stocking housekeeping closets with clean laundry.

Typical Duties include:

• Receive linen, wash and dry linen, fold and forward to closets for room attendants etc.
• Clean up machines and surrounding area.
• Deliver clean sheets, towels, pillowcases, blankets, spreads, bedspreads, etc.to guests and co-workers.
• Respond to Housekeeping requests for assistance, direction, and other information.

• Must be reliable, adaptable and dependable.
• Maintains regular attendance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with housekeeping staff as to the status of the laundry.
• Ability to push and/or pull wheeled racks and carts weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill, and ability.
• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
